WA Grown Food Kit For Pears

Pears are second to apples as the most popular fruit in the U.S. The sweet pear is a relative to the apple and came to the United States in the 1700’s with European settlers.

There are 3000 recognized varieties of pears in the world!  Here are some of the most common:

  • Green Anjou
  • Red Anjou
  • Yellow Bartlett
  • Red Bartlett
  • Bosc
  • Comice
  • Forelle
  • Seckel
